With a dual engineering foundation, Anand blends technical mastery with strategic foresight to empower institutions—especially in the banking and finance sector—to lead the green transition.
As a trusted advisor to multilateral banks like the AfDB and World Bank, national governments, and private financial institutions, he has been instrumental in integrating ESG into core operations, designing climate-aligned investment frameworks, and shaping national climate finance policies. His legacy of impact ranges from pioneering ISO 14001 systems in the 1990s to shaping climate adaptation strategies for transport infrastructure in Africa.
